The IDAS IC-F3400D/IC-F4400D series from ICOM offers a comprehensive range of functions and improvements for professional communication in various areas.

Improved communication functions:

Digital and analog mode: flexible operating system allows use in both digital NXDN mode and analog mode.
Trunking: Efficient channel management through NXDN Type-D single-site trunking and multi-site trunking. (Depending on version / additional licenses required)
Encryption: DES, AES and OTAR encryption for secure communication of sensitive data. (Version-dependent / additional licenses required)

Comprehensive GPS functionality:

Built-in GPS receiver: provides position data for AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) applications and location determination.
GPS log function: Records position data to track routes and activities.
