Its robust construction and mounting versatility make it an ideal choice for marine applications.Mounting options:This antenna offers flexible mounting options to ensure optimal radio coverage. It can be installed with a 1" swivel fitting at the top of the mast, on the side of the mast or on the spreader. In addition, the PROCOM FLG mounting flange allows the antenna to be mounted on the deck or cabin roof of a ship. It is recommended to mount the antenna as high as possible to ensure the best radio coverage.Technical features:The CXL 2-1/... is characterized by its Lambda 1/2 construction, which does not require ground planes, load coils or counterweight rods, simplifying installation and increasing operational efficiency. The antenna is designed for use with duplex radio systems as well as on semi-duplex channels and offers impeccable VSWR in both the receive and transmit frequency ranges. This ensures excellent radio communication without frequency interference.Environmental resistance:The radiating element of the antenna is encapsulated in a tapered protective fiberglass tube that ensures interference-free performance in all climate conditions. In addition, all metal parts of the antenna are grounded, resulting in a DC short circuit through the coaxial cable and providing additional protection against static discharge.Installation instructions:When installing the antenna, care should be taken to ensure that it is not mounted parallel or in close proximity to metal parts such as mast tubes or cables, as this may affect the VSWR and radiation pattern.
Current selection:CXL 2-3C/s: 137 - 150 MHzCXL 2-3C/l: 144 - 157 MHzCXL 2-3C/m: 153 - 166 MHz ← Current selectionCXL 2-3C/h: 162 - 175 MHzCXL 2-3C/... is a robust, vertically polarized, omnidirectional 3 dBd fixed antenna that covers the 160 MHz band in 4 models with 4 MHz overlap each. The antenna features our "C" mast mount for high loads, made of epoxy-coated, rustproof aluminum as well as stainless steel U-bolts and mounting nuts.CXL 2-3C/... is suitable for mounting on pole tubes with a diameter of 27 - 65 mm. The cable can be routed either outside or inside the pole tube. The phase position for the radiating elements is designed for maximum gain in the horizontal direction, the side lobes are reduced to a minimum. Particular emphasis was placed on a high bandwidth in terms of both VSWR and gain. The carefully designed radiating broadband element is encapsulated in a protective fiberglass tube to protect it from all climatic influences. To significantly reduce atmospheric noise, all metal parts of the antenna are DC earthed. The antenna therefore has a DC short circuit across the coaxial cable.CXL 3-2C is designed for reliable performance in all climatic conditions.
Frequency ranges:CXL 2-3LW/s: 139 - 147 MHz CXL 2-3LW/l: 146 - 155 MHzCXL 2-3LW/lm: 153 - 162 MHzCXL 2-3LW/hm: 158 - 167 MHz ← Selected model CXL 2-3LW/h: 166 - 175 MHzThe CXL 2-3LW/... is an advanced fixed station and maritime antenna that offers exceptional performance in the VHF band. This model is characterized by its vertical polarization and omnidirectional orientation, with a gain of 3 dBd, making it ideal for a wide range of applications.Construction and material:The antenna has a robust mast base made of epoxy-coated, lightweight, stainless aluminum ("LW"), which is known for its indestructibility. It is supplied with stainless steel mounting clamps and nuts for easy installation and long-lasting reliability. The antenna can be mounted on vertical or horizontal mast tubes with an outer diameter of 16-54 mm and the cable can be routed either inside or outside the mast tube.Technical features:With a wide bandwidth in terms of standing wave ratio (VSWR) and gain, the antenna enables flexible and efficient use. The phasing of the radiating elements is optimized for maximum gain in the horizontal direction, while sidelobes are minimized to reduce interference. The radiating element is encapsulated in a high-quality, conical protective tube made of glass fibre, which protects against corrosive influences and minimizes wind pressure.Protection and safety:To reduce atmospheric noise and increase operational safety, all metal parts of the antenna are DC earthed. This results in a DC short circuit through the coaxial cable, which provides additional protection against static discharges. The antenna is specially designed for use in demanding environments and is vibration-proof, corrosion-resistant and extremely durable.Areas of application:Thanks to its modern, slim design and versatile mounting options, the CXL 2-3LW/... is ideal for maritime applications and stationary installations where reliable VHF communication is required.
