The radio can send GNSS (GPS) position, AIS data, DSC calls, and the current VHF channel to other devices.Active Noise Cancelling for Clear Communication in Noisy EnvironmentsThe IC-M410BB features Active Noise Cancelling, which digitally removes background noise from both transmitted and received audio, so you can hear and be heard clearly even in noisy environments, such as in rough seas or in a busy harbor.Built-in Class D DSC with Distress Button for SafetyWith just a press of the "DISTRESS" button, you can send a distress call to the Coast Guard and/or other vessels with the built-in DSC (Digital Selective Calling) system. The DSC watch function also continuously monitors the DSC channel (Channel 70) for distress calls, to enhance safety on board.Loud 1-Way RX Hailer for Deck AnnouncementsThe IC-M410BB has a built-in 15-watt hailer speaker, so you can make announcements on deck or on the tower.
