Product information "ICOM IC-M85E"

The ICOM IC-M85E is a compact and lightweight handheld transceiver that covers both marine VHF channels and business radio channels in the 136-174 MHz range. With its rugged construction, numerous features, and intuitive operation, it is ideal for use in a variety of environments.

Compact and Lightweight:

Measuring just 56 x 92 x 29 mm (W x H x D) and weighing approx. 246 g (including battery), the IC-M85E is one of the most compact and lightweight handheld transceivers on the market.
Ideal for on-the-go use where space and weight are limited.

Marine VHF and Business Radio in One:

In addition to standard marine VHF channels, the IC-M85E can also operate on business radio channels in the 136-174 MHz range.
Up to 100 programmable channels with CTCSS and DTCS tones provide flexible communication within your team or organization.
Note: Programming of business radio channels must be done by a dealer like FELLECS-TECH.

Powerful Audio Amplifier:

Despite its compact size, the IC-M85E delivers an impressive 700 mW of audio power.
Crystal-clear and loud communication even in noisy environments is thus ensured.

Automatic Emergency Alarm:

The IC-M85E features three emergency functions: MOB (Man Overboard), Man-Down, and Lone Worker.
In an emergency, the device automatically sends out an alarm tone to request assistance.
Note: The alarm tone sounds from the handheld transceiver's speaker, even if an optional speaker microphone is connected.

Intuitive Operation:

The multifunction button on the top of the device allows for easy switching between marine VHF and business radio channels.
The lock function can be activated or deactivated by long-pressing the button.
Other features such as priority scan, dual and triple watch, and direct access to channel 16 ensure easy and intuitive operation.

Rugged Construction:

The IC-M85E is IP67 dustproof and waterproof and can be submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
It also meets the MIL-STD-810 standard for military equipment, making it suitable for use in harsh environments.

AquaQuake™ function prevents sound impairment caused by water in the speaker
Built-in VOX function for hands-free operation (with optional cable with PTT button and headset)
Up to 21 hours of operating time with the supplied BP-294 battery
