The ICOM VE-SP1 is a portable speakerphone system that enables highly efficient voice conferencing when combined with Icom IP transceivers (such as the IP501H or IP503H). Whether in a conference room, a command center, or mobile in the field – the VE-SP1 brings all participants to a virtual table.

Versatile Operating Scenarios:

• Multi-Site Connectivity: Conduct meetings between headquarters and branch offices as if all staff members were in the same room – regardless of distance.
• Event Management: Information from the event site can be shared instantly with the entire team in the back office to ensure faster response times.
• Crisis Management & Disaster Relief: Reports from affected areas are transmitted via the VE-SP1 directly to headquarters, keeping all decision-makers instantly up-to-date.

• Maximum Mobility: Weighing only approx. 595 g, the device is extremely light and compact. In addition to the AC adapter, it can be powered by 8 AA batteries – ideal for locations without a power outlet.

• Enhanced Voice Pickup: In addition to the internal microphone, an external SM-1 microphone (3 m cable) is included to optimally capture audio from a wider area.
• Charging Function: When used with the AC adapter, the connected IP transceiver is charged simultaneously.
• Emergency Power Option: Should the batteries run out, the speakerphone can be powered directly by the battery of the connected handheld radio.
