CXL 2-3C/... is a robust, vertically polarized, omnidirectional 3 dBd fixed antenna that covers the 160 MHz band in 4 models with 4 MHz overlap each.

The antenna features our "C" mast mount for high loads, made of epoxy-coated, rustproof aluminum as well as stainless steel U-bolts and mounting nuts.

CXL 2-3C/... is suitable for mounting on pole tubes with a diameter of 27 - 65 mm. The cable can be routed either outside or inside the pole tube.

The phase position for the radiating elements is designed for maximum gain in the horizontal direction, the side lobes are reduced to a minimum. Particular emphasis was placed on a high bandwidth in terms of both VSWR and gain.

The carefully designed radiating broadband element is encapsulated in a protective fiberglass tube to protect it from all climatic influences.

To significantly reduce atmospheric noise, all metal parts of the antenna are DC earthed. The antenna therefore has a DC short circuit across the coaxial cable.

CXL 3-2C is designed for reliable performance in all climatic conditions.
